MY STORY
Having studied fashion design and illustration at Central St Martins, I embarked on a long and varied career in the fashion world (working alongside some of the greats like John Galliano and Jimmy Choo in the process!)
I found a way to combine my passion for illustration, design, nature, quality, luxury and all things vintage by designing this range of scarves. Each design is inspired by my travels and years of living abroad, and the years spent in big cities that served to sharpen my appreciation of the beautiful forms found in nature. They recall the delicious English countryside which I enjoyed, and was fascinated by, as a child.
These scarves, in turn, bring some colour and reminders of the beauty found in nature back to the city.
Each scarf is a piece of wearable and versatile artwork, the quality of the design itself is rendered on equally luxurious silk twill. Designed for women with discerning taste, and a discreet sense of style. Women who appreciate, and incorporate beauty and elegance into all aspects of their lives.
These beautiful scarves can be used to express a mood, change the function of an outfit, and add personality in any situation. Whether that’s a sharp business suit, a cocktail dress, lounging on a yacht, or relaxing in the countryside. They offer the possibility to exude colour and pattern in a way that would be inconceivable on a larger scale garment or accessory.
The scarves are of the highest quality and are all produced in the Lake Como area in Italy - the true home of the foulard. The few remaining artisanal producers treat the designs with the care that they need in order to enhance their beauty, colours and detail bring them to life.
